I did my internship with 'DesignWorks', Enterprise IG, a graphic design
company. The internship lasted for nine weeks. During the course of that
time I was an assistant to the designers. I contributed by doing image
research, photographed for client projects, built product models and
contributed to the overall operation of 'DesignWorks'. From this experience
I have learned more techniques with the design programs and new ways of
research.
Living in Australia has been an amazing experience. I really have enjoyed
it. From this experience I have found that I was able to adapt to change
well. I enjoyed seeing a new country and its beautiful and diverse
landscapes. I learned from working in a new culture and will always remember
the people that I met.

Hi!! My name is Marcee and I am sadly finishing up my internship here in
Sydney. I can not even begin to explain what an amazing experience I have
had here. I have made some of the best friends: interns and locals. My
internship here was under Chubb Insurance. The employees have been fantastic
and make my time here even more enjoyable. Everyone has been so eager to
help me and get to know me. I work in the accounts department here and
assist anyone with anything they need help with. So I have been here for two
months, and it has seemed like it has only been about 2 weeks. I have found
that Sydney does live up to its reputation. Before arriving here, I was told
that everywhere I went, I would run into the nicest and friendliest people
and they were right. Big City Life is so different to me because I have
lived in a small town in Mississippi my whole life; my university is even
located in a small town. So things like public transportation are so new to
me. It was a little scary at first not knowing where to go and how to get
there but I soon grew accustomed to the Big City way of life. I met these
amazing American girls at the first social that I attended and have become
great friends with them throughout my stay. These girls are the ones that
have made my time here so much more enjoyable. I guess I would have to say
that this experience has given me proof that I can be independent and
outgoing. I have learned to take control and step out of my safety
boundaries. Thank you so much for allowing me this opportunity. I hope to
come back to Sydney (maybe in the summer time here) in the near future.
