SPANISH WITH A PURPOSE IN PERU

This particular Escuela de Español is a non-profit language school based in Cusco, Peru, South America. The proceeds from Spanish classes are used to provide education and food to the children from very disadvantaged areas of Cusco. With every four hours of classes you take at Escuela de Español, you will provide one day’s education and a meal for one of these kids. As a student of Español, you will have the opportunity to interact with these Peruvian students through conversation classes and field trips as well as getting to know the other Spanish students and Spanish teachers.
Cusco and the surrounding areas have many historical and cultural places of interest, including Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. In addition to Spanish lessons, you can take part in classes offering Salsa dancing, Peruvian cooking and Andean weaving.
